Chyron hires new professional services VP

Chyron Corp., of Melville, has hired a new executive, Sim Kolliner, as vice president of professional services.
With three decades of broadcast industry experience, he will lead the division of Chyron that helps ease "clients' smooth implementation of graphics solutions, as well as their organizational adaptation to new systems and workflows," Chyron said.
"Sim has been involved in virtually every aspect of broadcast operations and engineering, and his leadership skills and rich background in the industry will be indispensible to Chyron as we grow our professional services division," Michael Wellesley-Wesley, Chyron president, said in a Thursday news release.
Chyron, an Emmy Award-winning broadcast graphics company, makes digital and broadcast graphics systems, with shares traded on the Nasdaq.
