ChyronHego Corp., the Melville-based company that creates graphics for broadcast, cable and online companies, said this week it would provide graphics for a Mexico City-based television programming company and for a European soccer league.

The company will provide news and sports graphics, social media content and virtual product placement for TV Azteca. ChyronHego will provide a graphics system that will allow the tracking of players in the 20 stadiums of the teams in the Barclays Premier League.

The company declined to say how much the deals were worth.

The latter deal comes a few months after ChyronHego announced its purchase of Hego Aktiebolag, a Swedish company that specializes in sports graphics in Northern European markets.

Chyron pioneered the ubiquitous news crawl that streams at the bottom of TV news broadcasts. But the company was last profitable in 2008 because of media industry cutbacks.
