Cindy Lee of Valley Stream has been appointed principal of West End Elementary School in the Lynbrook Public Schools. She was principal of Inwood Number 2 Elementary School.
Jennifer Gallagher of Freeport has been appointed assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in the Long Beach Public Schools, effective July 1. She directed instructional services for the Valley Stream Central High School District.

Patrick McCormick of Kings Park, a partner at Campolo, Middleton & McCormick in Ronkonkoma, has been installed as a director on the board of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
