Coalition honors mediation workers

Rita Medaglio-Barrera of Hauppauge, left, and Gloria Ciolli of Roslyn have received the Sally Ann Slacke Memorial Award / Linda Jasper Memorial Award from the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition based on their efforts to spark business growth within their company.

Medaglio-Barrera, a divorce financial analyst, and Ciolli, a social worker, both work for Melville-based Mediation & Collaborative Action Group and developed a marketing campaign to promote an understanding of the mediation process.

For winning, they were given $2,000 to help implement their plan.
