Comforce Corp., a nationwide provider of skilled temporary and contract workers, has moved to Bethpage. Its new headquarters office is at the Sterling Corporate Center, 999 Stewart Ave. in Bethpage. It moved from Woodbury.

The company finds work for people seeking “full-time, long-term, short-term, seasonal, direct hire or temp-to-hire assignments.”

Comforce hires workers with general office skills, as well as those with specialized backgrounds in accounting (including Sarbanes Oxley Act specialists), aerospace, engineering, health care, telecommunications, and numerous other fields.

To its employer clients, it offers job candidates who are "prescreened, reference checked and ready to work."

Comforce is traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol CFS. It has regional staffing offices in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and other areas including California, Florida and Texas. Its office network consists of 23 company-owned and six licensed offices, two of which operate under the Uniforce® Staffing Services brand name.
