Container Store to debut on LI in August

The Container Store will have its Long Island debut on Aug. 11, adding about 60 jobs to the local community.
The Texas-based chain that sells storage and organization products joins several other major retailers for the grand opening of the Gallery at Westbury Plaza in Garden City.
The development, which is owned by Manhattan-based Equity One Inc., has 330,000 square feet of retail space. Tenants will also include Trader Joe's, Saks Off Fifth, Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdale's Outlet and The Shake Shack.
The Container Store’s 25,000-square-foot space at the Gallery at Westbury Plaza will feature more than 10,000 products in 16 lifestyle departments.
