Council to get report cards on 66 LI projects
The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council will hold a public meeting Wednesday at Stony Brook University .
The council, appointed last year by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, will review the status of 66 projects that received $101.6 million in state grants and tax credits in December. It also will discuss this year’s competition for state aid.
The meeting will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the university’s Center for Global Studies & Human Development. At 1 p.m., a workshop will be held on the Consolidated Funding Application process required to win grants and tax credits. The applications are due in mid-July.
