Edgewood-based CPI Aerostructures Inc. has announced another order from the U.S. Air Force valued at $2.2 million, the company said Wednesday morning.

The latest order, for spoilers, brings the total value of orders under a C-5 contract to $37 million.

CPI Aero produces parts for prime defense contractors and the military. The company said that among the key programs it supplies are "the E-2D Hawkeye surveillance aircraft, the UH-60 BLACK HAWK helicopter (above left), the S-92® helicopter, the MH-60S mine countermeasure helicopter, MH-53 and CH-53 variant helicopters, the Gulfstream G650, C-5A Galaxy cargo jet, the T-38 Talon jet trainer, the A-10 Thunderbolt attack jet, and the E-3 Sentry AWACS jet."
