Clarification: Crypto Lawsuit NY story

NEW YORK — In a story published Nov. 15, 2024, The Associated Press reported on a judge’s decision to reject New York state’s effort to shut down a cryptocurrency plant because of concerns about its climate impact. The story should have made clear that the state’s position was that letting the facility continue operating would be inconsistent with state climate law, not that the plant’s current operations were violating the law.
