Cuomo hosting economic development summit

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo is hosting an “economic development summit” Tuesday at the state Capitol in Albany.
Ten regional councils, appointed by him, are making presentations on how state aid awarded last year is being spent. They also are discussing the applications received for this year’s aid competition.
Leaders of the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council, including co-vice chairman Kevin Law, will speak last at about 3 p.m.
