Darby Dental Supply LLC said it plans to add 55 workers on Long Island during the next six months. Darby will be one of the companies recruiting Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newsday Career Fair at the Melville Marriott, 1350 Walt Whitman Road in Melville.

The Jericho company said it has openings for inside sales account managers, office supply sales specialists, collections clerks, staff accountants, web designers and others.

The 65 year-old family-owned company calls itself the nation’s largest all-telesales national distributor of dental merchandise. It has 371 workers nationwide, including 160 on Long Island.

Darby also plans an open house for job seekers at its headquarters at 300 Jericho Quadrangle on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
