$4.3 million for the year ended Dec. 31, compared with profit of $1.7 million in 2008.

Net revenue: $225.6 million; 2008 saw $242.7 million.

Outlook: "We are extremely well positioned to benefit from a pickup in auto sales, as well as continued growth in our subscription business,'' chief executive Mark O'Neil said Tuesday in a government filing. He said the company's recently announced strategic agreement with GMAC "will have substantial long-term benefits."

Company statement: "While revenues were below our expectations for the quarter, primarily due to the strength of captive lenders not on our network, we are pleased with our ability to contain costs to achieve solid results."

SHARE PRICE: Up 76 cents yesterday to $14.95.
