The Disney Store will celebrate the grand reopening of its remodeled 4,400-square-foot store at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove on Saturday.

The reopening ceremony at 10 a.m. will feature special appearances, a meet-and-greet with Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, and a little bit of Pixie Dust to officially open the store to guests. The store will employ 20 to 25 people, company officials said.

"Disney Store brings a distinctly Disney experience to hometowns throughout the U.S. with a focus on 'creating magical moments for guests of all ages,' and our Cast Members are looking forward to bringing this magic to life in Lake Grove for all to enjoy," Jonathan Storey, vice president of Disney Store North America, said in a statement.

The store, which closed in February 2015 for the remodeling, will include a blue Pixie Dust Trail, Magical Trees, Disney Store Theater and Storytelling Neighborhoods featuring Disney, Marvel and Star Wars products. The store also includes design elements exclusive to Lake Grove, including a customized skyline incorporating local landmarks such as the Lake Grove Meeting Hall and the Brewster House.

The Disney Store retail chain, which debuted in 1987, is owned and operated by Disney in North America, Europe, and Japan. The store is the retail merchandising arm of Disney Consumer Products, the business segment of The Walt Disney Co.
