Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk will receive $79,750 as its share of a $10.4 million grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a not-for-profit, financial services membership organization.

The money will help the local Habitat chapter build two homes in the coming year.  Members of area Lutheran congregations are expected to raise additional funds and provide volunteers to build each home.
