Free workshop aims to help inventors get energy products to market
A free training program for developers of new energy products will be held on Thursday and Friday at Stony Brook University.
The two-day Build4Scale workshop will show inventors how to create manufacturing-ready prototypes, avoid costly redesign and work with area factories. The lead instructor is Dan Radomski, a nationally known expert.
The workshop is funded by a $150,000 federal Department of Energy grant won by FuzeHub, a statewide manufacturing group. The local branch of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, based at Stony Brook, is also assisting.
FuzeHub executive director Elena Garuc said the workshop “has the potential to accelerate the growth of the energy technology industry.”
