Esquire Bank, which provides financial services to the legal community, has moved its headquarters to a 13,000-square-foot office in Jericho.
The bank is moving about 50 employees to its new office at 100 Jericho Quadrangle.
The bank had been based in Garden City, where it still operates a branch at 320 Old Country Road. About 30 employees from Garden City have moved in to the new location, while 20 lending and sales division employees have relocated from Manhattan.
“As we’ve grown, it’s been inefficient to have the lending and sales division separate,” said Andrew C. Sagliocca, Esquire’s president and CEO.
He added that Esquire has “attorney clients across the country,” and didn’t need to have employees at its 233 Broadway location in Manhattan.
Esquire Bank has $425 million in assets, and a deposit base of $371 million, about 75 percent of which is from the legal industry, Sagliocca said.
