Esquire Bank, a privately held lender based in Garden City and serving attorneys and other professionals, said it has opened a third office, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

It's the bank's first Florida office. Founded in 2006, Esquire also has an office in Manhattan.

The Palm Beach Gardens office opened for business earlier this month.

"Esquire Bank's new Florida office reflects the exciting growth opportunities we see in the marketplace," bank president and CEO Andrew C. Sagliocca said in a statement.

Last month, Esquire's parent, Esquire Financial Holdings, announced that it had raised $19.1 million in a private placement of its common stock at $12.50 a share. Investors included existing and new shareholders.

The bank employs a total of 44.
