Estee Lauder will be hiring for more than 100 open positions at an open recruitment event Tuesday.

The Manhattan-based skin care and cosmetics company is trying to fill product line positions at its Melville facility, which entails assembling and packaging Estée Lauder products.

The recruitment event will be run by staffing company Manpower at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center in Hauppauge from 9 a.m. to noon. Those interesting in attending should bring a resume and dress for an on-site interview.

The hiring event comes as Estee Lauder publicized plans last month that it would close an office in New Jersey in April and move jobs to its Melville facility in order to streamline operations and save money.

At the time of the announcement, the company did not disclose how many employees it may add to the Melville operation. A filing with New Jersey's Department of Labor and Workforce Development said the closure would affect about 116 employees in New Jersey.
