Hans-Erik G. Aronson has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president, information technology, and chief information officer at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. The Manhattan resident has been director of information technology at the private, nonprofit institution since January 2008.

Gregg Seibert, center, has been named chief financial officer at Cablevision Systems Corporation in Bethpage, Newsday’s parent company. This title is in addition to his current role as executive vice president. He lives in Manhattan.

Seymour Liebman, right, has been named president of Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, a new wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. in Lake Success. This new title will be in addition to his role as executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel of Canon U.S.A. He lives in West Hempstead.
