FalconStor pegs exec to lead North American sales team

FalconStor, the Melville data storage company, has a new vice president for North American sales.
He’s John W. Turner, at left, a former Europe, Middle East and Africa sales VP for Symantec, where he oversaw the Internet security company’s $2 billion commercial business.
“In his new role, Turner will be responsible for building a world-class sales organization that will work closely with and support FalconStor’s expanding channel partner network,” FalconStor said in a news release.
“Turner will focus on attracting top talent and employing proven best practices that should accelerate sales of FalconStor solutions.”
