A job expo for individuals with autism and special needs is being held today at Farmingdale State College. The effort is being organized by the nonprofit Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, along with Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Over 30 businesses will be on site to discuss job opportunities. The event will begin with a community forum from 9 to 11 a.m. in Roosevelt Hall at Farmingdale State College, where over 20 local elected officials will also be in attendance.

The job fair will take place between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hundreds of job seekers with special needs are expected to attend.
