Ferrari dealer moving to Plainview
The Experience Auto Group, which specializes in high-end cars for the wealthy, is moving its Long island Ferrari and Maserati dealership into new and larger quarters in Plainview and is opening what it says will be the only stand-alone Maserati dealership in Manhattan, on York Street near the Holland Tunnel.
Founded by Stuart Hayim, a well known Long Island carpet manfacturer and power boat racer, the group now is headed by his son, Garrett, and includes Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island, whose new, 21,000 square foot quarters are at 65 LIE South Service Rd. in Plainview; Rolls Royce Motor Cars of Long Island, located nearby; Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale; and Maserati of Manhattan, whose 5,000 square foot showroom opened earlier this month.
A grand opening for the Manhattan store is scheduled for September 30. Another, on Oct. 14, is scheduled for the Long Island Ferrari-Maserati store. Above is a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.
