Anyone who’s had a hard time asking for a raise, or higher fees for services, can learn a thing or two from Carol Frohlinger, who’ll be one of the speakers at “Empowering Yourself Financially: An Interactive Workshop,” planned for Thursday, May 13, by the Long Island Women’s Agenda.

Her most important message, says Frohlinger, co-founder of Negotiating Women, Inc.: “There’s no secret sauce,” meaning anyone can learn the techniques for negotiating on his or her own behalf.

Another plus for this event – the $5 price tag.
