Financing workshop offered for small businesses
How small business owners can apply for loans and other financing is the subject of a workshop May 16 at the Long Island Association’s office in Melville.
The event, from 8 to 10:30 a.m., will be held at 300 Broadhollow Rd., Suite 110W. It has been organized by the LIA and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Representatives of banks, credit unions, the U.S. Small Business Administration and other institutions will discuss how to apply for financing, common mistakes made by applicants, eligibility requirements and loan terms.
