Finding Long Island farmstands

The Long Island Farm Bureau has a website -- www.longislandfarmstands.com -- that includes an interactive map that lets you search 50 farmstands and get information on the products available at them.
The if you click on the Find a Farmstand tab, you’ll get the option to check out another map that shows 16 Farmers Markets island-wide.
"We can't stress enough the importance of buying local every season," said Long Island Farm Bureau Executive Director Joseph Gergela in an announcement about the site. "The local greenhouses, farm fields and vineyards are what make this region so special. The investment into our own community is vital for our region to flourish."
