Five O'Clock Club tips for landing job

Job hunting in the bleak winter season in a challenging market can seem particualry daunting.
But the Five O’Clock Club, a Manhatttan career-consulting firm, believes effective strategies will bear fruit in any market in any season.
“Five O’Clock Club members who command a $200,000-plus pay rate are getting jobs in less than six months,” the group says.
The group’s suggestions include:
-Don’t jump in without a plan.
-Decide what you really want to do.
-Set targets and keep them in your sights.
-Seek out coaching groups of employed and unemployed job seekers.
-Network with the “big dogs.”
