For Afghan, give cheese a chance
Ahmad Khalid Rahimi, right, of Afghanistan, learns cheese-making with Art Ludlow of Mecox Bay Dairy in Bridgehampton yesterday.
Rahimi is one of 10 young Afghan entrepreneurs brought to the area by Business Council for Peace, also known as Bpeace, a nonprofit that gets some support from the U.S. Department of State to help entrepreneurs in conflict-afflicted countries establish businesses and create employment.
He wants to see if he can add cheese making to his ice cream business back in Afghanistan.
