Mary Marquez Bell, right, has been appointed director of the American International Recruitment Council, which develops standards of ethical practice for recruitment of international students to American education institutions. The Deer Park resident is vice president for enrollment services at SUNY College at Old Westbury.

Veronica O’Neill has been elected vice president of the Collateral Loan Brokers Association of New York. The Patchogue resident is president and owner of William J. O’Neill Sales Exchange in Patchogue.
