Fairfield Properties, a Melville-based owner and operator of commercial and multifamily real estate, has purchased a Garden City apartment complex for $36.5 million.
The 80-unit, four-story apartment building at 365 Stewart Ave., was built in 1938. The sale of the property was finalized earlier this month, and announced Thursday.
Aaron Jungreis, co-founder and president of brokerage firm Rosewood Realty Group, represented both Fairfield and the property’s seller, Va Garden City LLC National Registered Agents Inc., in the deal.
Fairfield, a family-owned business, was founded more than 40 years ago and operates several apartment and condo complexes on Long Island, including in Sayville, Coram and Rockville Centre.
