Globecomm partners with Fujitsu

The Hauppauge-based defense and commercial electronics company Globecomm Systems Inc. has a new partnership with Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc.
Fujitsu will provide digital media elements for Globecomm’s commercial and government products, and will aid in marketing and sales. Fujitsu’s products include the “IP series of H.264/AVC encoders and decoders, servers and advanced video recognition technologies,” Globecomm said in a news release.
Globecomm makes satellite-based communications systems for the U.S. military, foreign governments, and domestic and international private companies. Those satellite dishes above are at its Hauppauge headquarters.
