The Long Island Association is partnering with Goldman Sachs to host a strategy workshop to help small business owners grow their businesses.

The free event, open only to LIA members and members of the LIA's Women Collaborative, is run in collaboration with Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses initiative. It takes place June 1 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at LIA headquarters, 300 Broadhollow Rd. in Melville.

The workshop is geared toward small business owners and entrepreneurs with a business in operation for at least two years, with revenue greater than $150,000 and a minimum of four full-time employees.

The session allows business owners to sample a class from the 10,000 Small Businesses program. Under the program, business owners are provided with business management education, support services and access to capital.

During the workshop, business owners will identify their most pressing barriers to growth and learn practical, hands-on action steps, new tools and resources, and how to put a plan into motion to change their organizations.

Interested participants must RSVP by calling Matt Cohen at 631-493-3002 or emailing mcohen@longislandassociation.org. The RSVP deadline is Friday.
