CHICAGO — Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. fell 13.50 cents at $7.09 a bushel; Sep. corn was off 3.50 cents at $5.3250 a bushel; Sep. oats lost 16 cents at $4.2850 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans rose 18 cents at $14.9950 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle fell 2.72 cents at $1.80 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle lost 3.85 cents at $2.4542 a pound; Aug. lean hogs was off .05 cent at $1.0085 a pound.
