Great Neck speaker among the Liberty's 'Inspiring Women'

As if all those skilled women basketball players aren’t inspiring enough, the New York Liberty, along with the Hallmark Channel, will be hosting Inspiring Women Night, at which they’ll honor area women who work to empower and inspire women and girls.
 
Darlene Aiken, president of Inner Beauty Solutions Inc., in Great Neck, is to be one of those introduced at a pre-game reception and networking event July 27 at Madison Square Garden – right before the Liberty take on the San Antonio Silver Stars. Aiken is a speaker and author who puts on empowerment workshops for kids.  Among last year’s honorees were representative from Girls Inc., the Bottomless Closet, the Women’s Sports Foundation.
