Luxury British menswear retailer Hackett London is opening its first store in the United States Saturday at Roosevelt Field mall.

The 1,600-square-foot store, which opens at 10 a.m., will include Hackett’s Mayfair and formal collections, as well as sportswear and accessories.

“The opening of the new store is in line with Hackett’s approach of opening stores in key cities throughout the world,” the company said in a news release.

The company said the façade of the store is designed to resemble a Georgian town house, a traditional architecture style of the Georgian period in Britain. Inside, there will be contemporary and abstract artwork, artist sketches, period prints and photography, as well as midcentury British style furniture. The new store is located in the mall’s Neiman Marcus luxury wing.

The first Hackett London shop opened in London in 1983. The company has 14 stores in the United Kingdom and 107 stores globally, including franchise stores.
