Hauppauge company releases photo editing app for iPad

Hauppauge-based Tiffen Co. on Monday said its Photo fx Ultra image-enhancement application is now available for the Apple iPad.

The app costs $5.99 from Tiffen's website or from iTunes. Shown above is a portion of the screen in the photo editing app.

The Tiffen Co. makes accessories for the still imaging, motion picture and broadcast markets.

The new iPad Photo fx Ultra app allows for multiple layering, masking and finger painting controls. These are all “easily accessed from the user friendly icons that border the large image area,” Tiffen said.
