Hauppauge Digital Inc., a developer of digital video and data-broadcast receiver products for personal computers, has issued its annual report.
Year: Ended Sept. 30
Net income: Loss of $1.85 million compared with loss of $7.14 million last year
Net sales: $56.9 million compared with $59.3 million a year ago
Company statement: Chief executive Ken Plotkin said in fiscal 2010, “sales of our TV tuner products in North America were strong, especially considering the weakness in the retail computer products market.”
Outlook: The company is developing three new products expected to launch in fiscal 2011 and also plans to debut its first U.S. mobile digital TV receiver.
