No one can accuse the Hauppauge Industrial Association of underselling next week's executive breakfast.
After all, the April 29 event has a very ambitious subtitle: “Do You Want to do Business in the Largest Industrial Park East of the Mississippi?”
It’s an update on the Hauppauge Industrial Park. It takes place from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
The main topic is "The Hauppauge Industrial Park -- A Major Economic Engine Now and in the Future.”
Among the subjects to be discussed are transportation, sewage and “Smart Grid in the HIP.”
It’s to be held at IBEW Local 25, at 370 Motor Pkwy. in Hauppauge.
Speakers will be state Sen. John Flanagan (R-East Northport) and Suffolk Legis. John M. Kennedy Jr. (R-Nesconset)
Moderator is Jack Kulka, chief executive of Kulka Construction Corp.
To register, go to the HIA-LI’s website, www.hia-li.org, or contact Terri Alessi-Miceli at 631-543-5355.
