Health care awards breakfast
A slew of Health Care Heroes Awards are set to be presented next week in a breakfast meeting and ceremony at The Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
Sponsored by the Long Island Business News, the event is meant to honor those “whose tireless work, contributions and dedication to healing and caring ensure the well-being of everyone on Long Island.”
The Nov. 4 event is from 8 a.m.-10 a.m.
The recipients include Karen Boorshtein of the Family Service League (above left), Laura Beck of St. Charles Hospital, home care visiting nurse Diane Morgan of Long Beach Medical Center and veterinarian A. Neil Weiss of Manetto Hill Animal Hospital.
