Help with Sandy insurance claims to be offered
Businesses, homeowners and renters with questions about insurance claims after superstorm Sandy can get help Monday and Thursday at two locations from the state Department of Financial Services, which regulates insurers.
Department representatives will be in Long Beach on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Waldbaum's Plaza, 85 East Park Ave. They will be in Copiague on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Home Depot store, 1101 Sunrise Hwy.
The officials can be found in a mobile command center, but also can be reached by calling 800-339-1759.
