High praise for Garden City firm's low-tech service

TTS Business Products, a Garden City info tech company offering a range of computer and digital network services, has gained New York Magazine's high praise for a very retro service: typewriter repair.

The first item in a magazine feature "Analog Renaissance (The stores, parties, meetups, and classes devoted to all things non-digital)" mentions a couple of typewriter repair places.

"There are only a few repairmen who still know how to oil a machine, replace a tired ribbon, or realign tangled keys," the magazine says, naming Tony Casillo of  TTS Business Products as the most trusted among them. The business is at  325 Nassau Blvd. South, Garden City South; 516-489-8300.
