Hispanic business owners and nonprofit leaders will hear about how Nassau County’s economic development programs can help them during a webinar on Thursday, officials said.

The free session, which starts at 5:30 p.m., will be held on the Facebook and YouTube pages of the county’s Office of Hispanic Affairs. The office is led by Amy Flores, who also is treasurer of the county’s Industrial Development Agency.

No registration is required, officials said.

The workshop coincides with Hispanic Heritage Month. It will focus on tax incentives granted by the IDA and tax-free bond financing from the county’s Local Economic Assistance Corp.

Speakers will include Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, who is seeking re-election, IDA leaders Richard Kessel, Harry Coghlan and Flores. Spanish translation will be provided.
