Hofstra plans marketing boot camp
The Scott Skodnek Business Development Center at Hofstra University will host a four-day marketing boot camp starting Monday, Aug. 6.
Designed for small and midsized businesses, the boot camp aims to help companies develop marketing plans using both traditional and social media. The workshop covers topics such as finding the right strategy, assessing the marketplace and maximizing budgets, social media, and search engine optimization.
The boot camp costs $495 and will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 6, Aug. 8, Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 in Room 205, C.V. Starr Hall, South Campus.
