A home remodeling company, a solar-system installer, a nonprofit provider of temporary and permanent shelter, and an optometry practice will be honored Tuesday as the winners of the Hauppauge Industrial Association of Long Island’s annual business achievement awards.

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone is scheduled to deliver remarks at the luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

The winners are: East Meadow-based Alure Home Improvements in the large business category; Ronkonkoma-based SUNation Solar Systems in the small business category; Islip Terrace-based Mercy Haven in the not-for-profit category, and Garden City-based Neuro Visual Center of New York-Dr. Cheryl Berger Israeloff, PLLC, as rookie of the year.

The annual awards given out by the HIA-LI are based on positive employee relations, commitment to the growth of the Long Island business community, revenue and profitability trends, and a three- to five-year vision for the company’s future.

HIA-LI, a Hauppauge-based organization that supports LI businesses and promotes economic development, has a membership of more than 1,000 companies and 4,500 individual members, according to its website.
