Homeowners with Sandy damage can seek help in Long Beach
Nassau County residents whose homes were damaged by superstorm Sandy can seek assistance in Long Beach on Thursday.
A forum will take place 6 to 9 p.m. at the Long Beach Library, 111 W. Park Ave. Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Topics include mental health and stress reduction, legal rights, flood insurance, challenging real estate taxes, contractor fraud, home elevation and loan programs. For more information, contact Michael Raab, Nassau County storm recovery liaison, at mraab@nassaucountyny.gov or 516-572-1395.
