Honored for work with the elderly

Christopher Carden of Lake Grove
Christopher Carden of Lake Grove has received the 2010 Long Term Employee of Distinction Award from the New York State Association of Homes and Service for the Aging based on his “exceptional work performance, compassion for the frail elderly, and expertise in his profession.”
Carden is the assistant director for rehabilitation services for the Long Island State Veterans Homes at Stony Brook University.
He is also a clinical instructor in the university’s physical therapy program.
