Hospital exec upgraded facilities

Kathleen Kennedy of Valley Stream has received the 2010 Patrick J. Scollard Award for Leadership from Catholic Health Services of Long Island for “exemplary leadership skills and commitment” to Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre.

She’s senior director of Mercy’s imaging and physician support services and is credited with upgrading and modernizing its radiology and imaging facilities.

Before joining the medical center in 2005, she spent 16 years at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
