A franchise housecleaning business serving Huntington and Northport will open next month.
The Molly Maid franchisee, Neil Gortler, will operate the business from 195 West Hills Road, Huntington Station.

Gortler decided to open the home cleaning business after working 25 years in the New York Mercantile Exchange, and five years trading oil.

Molly Maid has more than 450 locations in the United States and 300 abroad.

The franchise's service includes sending to each client’s home a team of two cleaners, dressed in Molly Maid uniforms, driving a blue car with the company logo and supplying all needed cleaning supplies. All cleaners are trained, screened, bonded and insured.

Gortler's business begins operations Feb. 1.
