Businesses, homeowners and renters with questions about insurance claims after superstorm Sandy can get help Thursday and Sunday at two locations from the state Department of Financial Services, which regulates insurers.

Department representatives will be in Farmingdale on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Rd. They will be in Lawrence on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brach’s Five Towns, 11 Lawrence Lane.

The officials can be found in a mobile command center, but also can be reached by calling 800-339-1759.
