A Woodbury insurance finance company executive has been named president of a national trade group, the National Premium Finance Association, the Insurance Journal reports.

Angelo Mangia, chief executive of Standard Funding Corp., was elected to the post at the association's annual meeting in Charlotte, N.C., this month, the company said.

Based in Maryland, the association represents the nation's largest insurance premium finance companies. These companies provide financing for businesses allowing them to spread the cost of up-front insurance premiums.

Mangia’s company, Standard Funding, was formed 32 years ago and conducts business throughout the continental United States.
