A seven-store Islip Terrace strip mall that includes a pizza parlor, liquor store and deli has changed hands for $2.4 million, the buyer's real estate agent said this week.

The property fetched a good price because it's just down the road from U.S. District Court and Suffolk County Court in Central Islip, said Frank Caporrino, of Silber Investment Properties Ltd., who represented the buyer of the 7,200 square foot mall at 64 Carleton Ave.

The $2,425,000 closing took place Jan. 13.

"This strip mall is one of the busiest in the area because of its proximity to the Suffolk County Court House" said Frank Caporrino. "Because of that, the businesses do extremely well and there has been very little turnover over the years."
